Q: Why did you choose podiatry?
A: I chose podiatry due to an appreciation of the comprehensive nature of the field. Not only do podiatrists employ extensive        knowledge of anatomy, dermatology, neurology, vascular supply and biomechanics in treating medical conditions of the foot and ankle but also work in varied types of practices. The unique combination of these aspects of medicine were extremely appealing when I decided to attend podiatric medical school.

Q: Where is home for you?
A: Boulder, Colorado

Q: What is your favorite vacation destination and why?
A: Cape Cod as it always brings back great memories of childhood summers with my family.

Q: Share one of your secret study habits.
A: I prioritize sleep, even before a test!

A: …I started my undergraduate studies in Architecture before switching to my BS in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.

Q: What would you title/name your autobiography?
A: "Finding My Footing"

Q: Why did you choose podiatry?
A: I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t until I began shadowing different physicians that I ran into podiatry. I instantly connected with the versatility that podiatry offers from being the pediatrician, dermatologist, surgeon and many more specialties all in one! After seeing all the different treatment options podiatrists were able to provide in clinic as well as in the OR, I knew podiatry was exactly what I wanted to do.

Q: What is your favorite vacation destination and why?
A: Any tropical beach because I love swimming but hate cold water

Q: Where is home for you?
A: Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago.

Q: Share one of your secret study habits.
A: I am a visual learner so watching videos really helped solidify certain details for me.

Q: Finish this sentence, "People would be surprised to learn that I..."
A: …am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Don’t ask me to show you any moves though because I forgot most of it.

A: "What should I watch next?"
